Beat The Streets
“Monica”
Strength Isn’t Just Physical
Being 16 is never easy. The world starts to present new challenges and kids learn tough lessons as adulthood creeps closer. Monica is a good wrestler — she’s been called “a beast on the mat.” Regardless of her wrestling accomplishments, her biggest opponent is herself. Anxiety, stress and mental health issues burden most kids. This video illustrates that there’s more to wrestling than winning matches. Beat the Streets Chicago is there, to not only teach the grit and discipline it takes to win on the mat, but to also win in life.
