“Take a Beat”

These were pretty much the most fun and vibrant boards we’ve come across and we were very excited. Once Adam saw the boards he knew he needed the perfect studio location. Adam was able to shoot at the famous Electrical Audio recording studio, home of legendary producer, Steve Albini. This was maybe the most exciting part of the shoot. Adam worked with Strange Loop, another production company, to bring this commercial to life. We needed to fit a lot of story and style into fifteen seconds. In order to pull this off we did test shoots with iPhones to time out the shots. We also created rough motion animation renders in advance that were approved before we ever hit record. Having all of this to show to the agency was instrumental in allowing us to be super confident with our execution. Props to the agency for trusting Adam’s gut on some of the fun framing.
